Job Description

We are seeking a friendly and compassionate Cardiology Nurse Practitioner to join our team. As a Cardiology Nurse Practitioner, you will play a crucial role in providing comprehensive care to patients with heart-related conditions. This is an exciting opportunity to make a difference in the lives of patients while working alongside a dedicated team of healthcare professionals.

Responsibilities

  • Perform comprehensive patient assessments, including physical examinations, medical histories, and diagnostic tests
  • Collaborate with cardiologists to develop and implement treatment plans for patients with cardiovascular conditions
  • Administer medications, monitor patient responses, and adjust treatment plans as necessary
  • Conduct cardiac stress tests, electrocardiograms (EKGs), and other diagnostic procedures
  • Educate patients and their families about cardiovascular health, preventive measures, and the importance of medication adherence
  • Provide counseling and emotional support to patients and their families
  • Assist with cardiac catheterizations, angioplasties, and other invasive procedures under the supervision of a cardiologist

Nurse Practitioner Requirements:

  • 6 months experience in long-term care
  • DEA License
  • Nurse Practitioner or PA License
  • Experience in cardiology

Salary: $90,000.00 - $120,000.00 per year
