Henry Ou

Henry Ou has a diverse range of work experience spanning multiple roles and companies. Henry began their career at UNVA, Inc in 2002, where they served as a Technical Lead, focusing on setting up Cisco routers and switches, implementing site-to-site Sonicwall VPN, and developing a Learning Management System (LMS) based on Linux. Henry also built and configured Linux-based DNS and Email servers.

In 2007, Henry joined Earth Networks as a NOC Administrator, responsible for supporting over 2000 physical and VMware servers across four data centers. Henry also worked on F5 and DNS servers and set up and configured system monitors.

In 2012, Henry moved to CoreLogic as a Senior Systems Administrator and Project Manager, where they provided technical and innovation support to the sales team, winning multiple contracts. Henry addressed IT requests and issues for internal developer and customer support teams and built and configured Linux-based multi-tenant Progress DB and Applications using automation tools.

In 2016, Henry joined General Dynamics Information Technology as a Senior Systems Engineer, supporting the National Cancer Central Database. Henry played a key role in supporting projects led by the NCI Chief Architect and CIO, creating multiple automation tools for on-premise and cloud environments.

Most recently, in 2018, Henry joined SAP as a Senior Linux Systems Engineer and Subject Matter Expert (Cloud). Henry held this position until 2022, when they transitioned to TMT Digital, Inc as a Sr. Systems Engineer (Linux)/Cloud Architect.

Overall, Henry Ou brings extensive experience in systems engineering, Linux administration, and cloud architecture to their work.

Henry Ou has a Master's degree in Computer Science from the University of Northern Virginia - Annandale. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor's degree in Statistics at Xiamen University. In addition to their formal education, Henry has obtained several certifications, including the ITIL® Foundation Certificate in IT Service Management from AXELOS Global Best Practice in 2018, the Microsoft Certified Systems Engineer certification from Microsoft in 2011, the Microsoft Certified Systems Administrator certification from Microsoft in 2011, the Microsoft Certified Technology Specialist: SQL Server 2008 certification from Microsoft in 2011, the MCTS-Windows7 certification from Microsoft in 2011, the Microsoft Certified Professional v2 certification from Microsoft in 2008, the CompTIA Security+ Certification from CompTIA in 2019, the CompTIA Linux+ ce Certification from CompTIA in 2020, and the AWS Certified Solutions Architect - Associate certification from Amazon Web Services (AWS) in 2018. These certifications highlight Henry's expertise and knowledge in various areas of computer science and technology.
