Gareth Molyneux

Gareth Molyneux has a diverse work experience spanning multiple industries. Gareth started their career as a Customer Service Officer at the Royal Bank of Scotland, where they provided customer support and handled various banking requests. After that, they worked as a student at London Metropolitan University.

Following their education, Gareth worked as an IT Technician at Rossett School, where they played a key role in managing the school's network and implementing upgrades. Gareth also introduced a web-based helpdesk system, enhancing IT support for the staff.

Gareth then joined Big Blue Support as a Field ICT Technician, responsible for managing school networks across London and overseeing upgrades to Windows 7 and Office 2010.

Subsequently, Gareth joined InterQuest Group as a Senior Specialist, where they supported the IT support team and managed a large user base. Gareth also contributed to infrastructure projects and was directly responsible for the Harrogate and Manchester offices.

In 2017, Gareth started their own venture, Spark Support, as the CEO. Spark is a mental health charity that provides peer support through a Facebook group. Gareth oversees all aspects of the organization, including technology, finance, HR, and compliance.

Most recently, they joined the Medical Protection Society as a Senior End User Computing Engineer. The details of their role are not provided.

Gareth Molyneux completed their A-levels in IT, Sociology, and Law at Rossett School from 2001 to 2008. Gareth then pursued further education at London Metropolitan University from 2008 to 2011, earning a DipHE in Computer Networking. In addition to their formal education, Gareth Molyneux has obtained several certifications from various institutions. Notable certifications include Ubiquiti Enterprise Wireless Administrator from Ubiquiti Networks in March 2019, Apple Certified Associate - Mac Integration 10.13 from Apple in November 2018, Exam 347: Enabling Office 365 Services and MCSA: Office 365 - Certified 2018 from Microsoft in August 2018, CompTIA Security+ from CompTIA in April 2018, and In-Service Inspection and Testing of Electrical Equipment from PASS Ltd in April 2018. Gareth also obtained Exam 410: Installing and Configuring Windows Server 2012 from Microsoft in March 2017 and Aerohive Certified Wireless Administrator from Aerohive in May 2013. Most recently, Gareth Molyneux obtained the Facebook Certified Community Manager certification from Facebook in August 2020.
