Jay Rowan

Jay Rowan has a diverse work experience spanning over 13 years. Jay began their career as a Trainee Hair Stylist at BLUES HAIR WORKSHOP LIMITED in 2008. Afterward, they worked as a Retail Assistant at The Fragrance Shop from 2010 to 2011. Jay then joined The Taylor partnership as a Senior Tier 4 Account Manager, where they managed client accounts with prestigious boarding schools and further education colleges across the UK and handled international student visa applications from 2011 to 2014. Jay then moved to Wm Morrison Supermarkets Plc as a Social Media Co-ordinator, responsible for managing the company's social media accounts and handling customer inquiries from 2014 to 2016. Subsequently, they worked at The Taylor Partnership as a Tier 4 Compliance Director, overseeing and managing accounts with independent boarding schools, private day schools, and further education colleges across the UK, and demonstrating knowledge of immigration law and practice from 2016 to 2018. Most recently, Jay joined the Medical Protection Society in 2019, where they have held multiple roles, including Operations Team Member, New Business Adviser, and currently, Operations Team Leader – International Services.

Jay Rowan completed an Access Course in Arts & Languages at The Open University from 2013 to 2014. Prior to that, from 2005 to 2008, they attended Whitcliffe Mount Business & Enterprise College where they obtained AS English Literature, AS Media Studies, and AS English Language degrees, all of which they passed. Jay also holds a certification in Basic first aid from St John's Ambulance.
