Edwin Whittaker has a wide range of work experience in various roles and industries. Edwin started their career as a Senior Project Manager at AEB, where they led the implementation of compliance and asset management software for BAE systems. Edwin then joined Manchester Airport as the Head of Group Infrastructure Portfolio, responsible for overseeing critical infrastructure projects throughout multiple airports. In 2019, Whittaker became a Programme Manager at Vodafone, managing the transition of services for TATA Steel and leading the rollout of a Juniper-based SDWAN. Edwin later worked as a Project Manager at the NHS and a Project Consultant at BT Group. More recently, Whittaker held positions at Ricoh UK, Wessex Water, and Imperial Brands PLC, where they took on roles such as Head of Delivery, Consultant Project Lead, and Delivery Lead. Currently, they are working as a Portfolio Manager at the Medical Protection Society and a Technical Delivery Lead at Vodafone.
Edwin Whittaker earned a Master of Business Administration (MBA) degree with a specialization in Project Management from Bristol University in 2013. In the same year, they also obtained a Postgraduate Certificate (PG Cert) in 4G & Wireless Communications from the University of Wolverhampton.
In addition to their formal education, Edwin has obtained various certifications. In 2014, they became a Registered Practitioner in Agile Project Management through APMG-International. Edwin also achieved PRINCE2® Practitioner and MSP® Practitioner certifications through AXELOS Global Best Practice in the same year. In 2017, Edwin obtained the ITIL Foundation certification from AXELOS Global Best Practice.
