Aneesh Hegde

Aneesh Hegde currently serves as the Joint Director (Infrastructure) at the Ministry of Railways, Government of India, since December 2023. With extensive experience in Indian Railways since 2015, Aneesh has held various prominent positions, including Chief Public Relations Officer, Officer on Special Duty to the Minister of State for Railways, and Divisional Operations Manager, where leadership was provided to the bulk freight operations and over 300 frontline staff. Additionally, as a Senior Fellow at the Melton Foundation since 2007, Aneesh has contributed to global citizenship initiatives and cross-cultural discussions. Previous roles include Assistant Director in the Ministry of Information and Broadcasting and faculty positions at MES Pre University College. Aneesh holds a Bachelor's degree in Electronics and Communications Engineering from B. M. S. College of Engineering and has undergone specialized communication training at the Indian Institute of Mass Communication.
