Daryl Shorter

Medical Director, Addictions Services at The Menninger Clinic

Daryl Shorter has extensive work experience in the field of addiction psychiatry. Daryl is currently an Associate Professor at Baylor College of Medicine, where they also serve as the Director of the Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship Program. Daryl is also the Medical Director of Addictions Services at The Menninger Clinic. Prior to these positions, they completed an Addiction Psychiatry Fellowship at NYU Medical Center.

Daryl Shorter began their education at Rice University in 1994, where they pursued a Bachelor of Arts degree in Sociology. Daryl successfully completed this program in 1998. Afterward, they enrolled in Baylor College of Medicine from 1998 to 2002, where they obtained a Doctor of Medicine (M.D.) degree. The field of study for their M.D. program was not specified.
