Janice Kwarta

Janice Kwarta, SPHR has a diverse work experience in the field of human resources. Janice started their career as a Manning Coordinator at Arcata Graphics in 1978 and then moved on to Nabisco Brands Inc. as an Assistant Personnel Manager in 1981. In 1984, they joined Intercontinental Branded Apparel as a Personnel Manager, where they achieved significant accomplishments such as reducing grievances by 50% and achieving a 30% reduction in New York State Unemployment Insurance taxation rate.

Janice continued their career at Perry's Ice Cream as Director of Human Resources from 1990 to 1992, where they were responsible for designing and directing department strategies and policies. Janice then joined Champion Products - Division of Sara Lee as a Manager of Human Resources, where they managed the relocation of their headquarters facility.

In 1993, they joined Enidine as a Human Resources Manager and then transitioned to The Mentholatum Company in 1994 as their Director of Human Resources. In this role, they were responsible for leading the HR, payroll, and administrative services staff and served as an internal consultant on all aspects of Human Resources.

Throughout their career, Janice has demonstrated a strong expertise in HR strategy, policy development, and employee relations.

Janice Kwarta, SPHR obtained their B.S. degree in Management from the University at Buffalo, where they attended from 1974 to 1978. Janice later pursued their MBA from Canisius University, which they completed between 2000 and 2004. In addition to their academic achievements, they obtained the SHRM - SPC certification from SHRM in June 2015, along with the SPHR certification from the same institution in the same month and year.
