Jennifer Cherni

Center Director, Ambulatory Care Enterprise at The MetroHealth System

Jennifer Cherni has had a diverse and extensive work experience. Jennifer started their career as an Assistant Editor at New Cleveland Woman Magazine in 1991. Jennifer then worked as a Marketing Coordinator at Simon and Schuster - Modern Curriculum Press from 1993 to 1995.

In 1995, Jennifer became a Senior Account Executive at Liggett-Stashower Advertising, where they oversaw client advertising in domestic and foreign markets. Jennifer played a key role in launching and naming a new retail concept for Jo-Ann Fabrics, Etc. Jennifer then moved on to Bernstein-Rein Advertising in 1999, where they served as a Senior Account Executive. Jennifer'sresponsibilities included overseeing the development and launch of a new product concept for Thrifty Car Rental/Sales.

Jennifer transitioned into the healthcare industry in 2002 when they joined University Hospitals of Cleveland as an Account Manager. Jennifer developed and implemented marketing initiatives for ambulatory locations and the Center for Neurosciences. Jennifer also worked as a Senior Internal Communications Coordinator at the same company, where they wrote and executed internal communications plans. Additionally, they served as a Senior Account Executive at the advertising agency Jo-Ann Stores, Inc. in 2005, leading marketing initiatives for the fabric/sewing division.

In 2006, Jennifer joined the Cleveland Clinic and held multiple roles over the years. Jennifer started as a Marketing Manager, responsible for developing and implementing a strategic marketing plan for all departments within the institute. Jennifer then became a Regional Growth Administrator, where they grew physician practices through acquisitions and implemented a physician outreach program that resulted in a 12% growth in new patient volume. Jennifer later became an Administrator, overseeing the daily operations of a large academic pain management practice and directing its expansion. Lastly, they served as a Senior Operations Analyst, spearheading initiatives to improve operational and financial performance.

Jennifer then moved to CVS Health in 2014, where they worked as a Consultant in Marketing, coordinating marketing efforts and regulatory guidance for SilverScript Insurance. Jennifer later became a Senior Consultant in Vendor Management, responsible for developing and implementing processes for the improvement of the Med D Vendor Management team's effectiveness.

Currently, Jennifer Cherni is working at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH. Jennifer started in 2016 as an Operations Manager and has recently transitioned into the role of Center Director, Ambulatory Care Enterprise.

Jennifer Cherni has a Master of Business Administration degree with a focus on Health Care Administration from Tiffin University. Additionally, they hold a Master of Arts degree in English from Cleveland State University. Jennifer also has a Bachelor of Science and Bachelor of Arts degrees in Journalism and English respectively from Ohio University.
