Michael Hsu

Michael Hsu has a strong background in healthcare technology and project management. Michael is currently working at The MetroHealth System in Cleveland, OH, where they hold the position of Executive Director Technology Services and Transformation Operations. Prior to this role, they served as the Executive Director IS Operations and EPMO, Senior Director Enterprise Solutions and IT Operations, Senior Director IT Operations, and Senior Director PMO within the same organization.

Before joining The MetroHealth System, Michael worked as a Senior Project Manager at CSC/Ascension Health and held a role in the Account Program Management Office at CSC/University Hospitals. Michael also served as the PMO Director at First Consulting Group/University Hospitals.

Michael began their career at Accenture, where they worked as a Manager for several years. Michael has over 25 years of experience in the field and holds certifications as a Project Management Professional (PMP), Certified Healthcare Chief Information Officer (CHCIO), and Certified Data Hospital Executive (CDH-E).

Michael Hsu, PMP, CHCIO, CDH-E, completed their education at Case Western Reserve University and the Weatherhead School of Management. In 1990, they obtained a Bachelor's degree in Management Information Systems (MIS) from Case Western Reserve University. Following this, from 1993 to 1994, they pursued an MBA with a focus on MIS and Healthcare Information Systems (IS) at the Weatherhead School of Management. Additionally, Michael has received additional certifications such as CHCIO-Eligible from CHIME and PMP from PMI.
