Shari Brooks

Shari Brooks has a diverse work experience in various fields. Shari started their career as a Certified Pharmacy Technician in an Independent and Chain Pharmacy in 2001 and continued in this role until 2022. In 1993, they worked as an Educational Consultant at MTA Consulting Group, where they revised academic programs and ensured they met state, national, and global standards. From 2004 to 2016, Shari worked at the Girl Scouts of Ohio's Heartland, first as an Educational Facilitator, and later as a Community Development Manager. In these roles, they facilitated educational programs and managed community development initiatives. From 2016 to 2018, Shari worked as a Career Development Specialist at Ross Education, LLC, where they coordinated job development and placement for Allied Healthcare Professionals. Finally, since 2018, they have been working as a Lead 340B Analyst at The MetroHealth System, Cleveland. In this role, they support 340B compliance, program integrity, and financial optimization within multiple covered entities, while also maintaining excellent customer service relations.

Shari Brooks obtained a Bachelor of Science degree in Information Technology from Wilberforce University in 2004. Shari then pursued a Master of Arts degree in Arts and Cultural Management at Michigan State University, which they completed in 2017. In addition, Shari has acquired certifications such as 340B University OnDemand for Health Centers from Apexus LLC and a Certified Pharmacy Technician license from the Pharmacy Technician Certification Board. Shari is also a Licensed Pharmacy Technician recognized by the State Board of Pharmacy, Department of Licensing and Regulatory Affairs.
