Lydia Lovell has extensive experience in the film and media production industry, currently serving as a Technical Manager for Production at The Metropolitan Museum of Art since November 2019. With a freelance career spanning over a decade, Lydia has worked as a Producer, Director, and Cinematographer on various projects, including notable works like "When the Lights Hit" and multiple collaborations with The New York Times. Lydia's previous positions include Manager of Equipment & AV Services at Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism and Technical Director at SOCAPA. Lydia holds Master's degrees from The New School and Universidad de Castilla-La Mancha, as well as a BA in Spanish from Hanover College.
