Zachary MacEr

Zachary Macer is a Broadcast Journalism major with a background in Sport Administration and Biochemistry from the University of Miami. Currently serving as a Television Broadcast Assistant for the Miami HEAT, Zachary edits broadcast elements and logs content for future use. As Sports Editor for The Miami Hurricane, Zachary oversees sports coverage and is a credentialed member of the media for University of Miami athletic events. Additional experience includes producing for UMTV’s SportsDesk and hosting a weekly sports talk radio show on WVUM 90.5 FM. Previous roles include lifeguarding and public information internship with the Nassau County Police Department, where Zachary developed skills in communication and event coverage.
