Cassandra Barrett

Cassandra Barrett currently serves as a Research Events Officer at The Michael J. Fox Foundation for Parkinson's Research since August 2022. Previously, Cassandra worked as an Outreach Program Specialist at Columbia Engineering, where responsibilities included collaborating with faculty and community partners to enhance STEM opportunities for students and organizing the Engineering the Next Generation program. During tenure at Northeastern University, roles included Senior Resident Assistant, where over 50 residents were directly mentored, and Project Coordinator Co-Op at Brigham and Women's Hospital, where an annual research event was organized for over 700 attendees. Additionally, Cassandra interned at Vertex Pharmaceuticals, teaching wet lab skills to students and promoting STEM engagement among high school students. Educational background includes a Bachelor of Science in Biology and Political Science from Northeastern University.
