Andrea Keeney

Andrea Keeney has a strong background in real estate development, with over 20 years of experience. Andrea is currently serving as the Vice President of Development at The Michaels Organization, a position they started in October 2021. Prior to their current role, Andrea held the position of Senior Development Manager at The Habitat Company from March 2021 to October 2021. Before that, they worked at Holsten Real Estate Development Corporation for over 19 years in various roles, including Director of Development, Senior Development Manager, Development Manager, and Development Coordinator. Andrea also gained early experience in the field as a Planning Intern at the City of Chicago Department of Planning and Development from June 1998 to December 2000.

Andrea Keeney completed their undergraduate education from 1997 to 2001 at the University of Illinois Urbana-Champaign. Andrea pursued a degree in Urban and Regional Planning during this time. Following their undergraduate studies, they continued their education at the University of Illinois Chicago from 2001 to 2004, where they obtained a Masters degree in Urban Planning and Policy, with a focus on Community and Economic Development.
