Raoul Amescua

Raoul Amescua has over 20 years of experience in real estate development and finance. Raoul currently works as the Regional Vice President of Development & Public-Private Partnerships for The Michaels Organization, overseeing the West Region's development team and securing new real estate opportunities. Prior to that, they were the VP of Development at The Michaels Organization, leading their public-private partnerships with higher education institutions in California.

Before joining The Michaels Organization, Raoul served as the Executive Director of Real Estate Services & Development at the University of California, Riverside, where they led a team in delivering various real estate development projects and negotiating complex public-private partnerships. Raoul also worked as the Director of Commercial Investment Sales at KW Commercial, where they offered commercial real estate brokerage services.

Earlier in their career, Raoul held roles such as Vice President at Hanover Properties, where they provided investment analysis for acquisition and disposition of properties, and President of Infiniti Real Estate, where they represented buyers and sellers in commercial real estate transactions. Raoul also worked as an Adjunct Professor at Cal Poly Pomona.

Throughout their career, Raoul has demonstrated expertise in land acquisitions, land development, and managing debt and equity structures for real estate development projects. Raoul has a strong track record of success in identifying, creating, and structuring real estate transaction opportunities to support strategic initiatives.

Raoul Amescua's education history begins with their Bachelor of Arts degree in Political Science, which they obtained from UC San Diego from 1992 to 1996. Following this, they pursued a Master's degree in Real Estate Development from the University of Southern California between 2009 and 2010. In addition to their formal education, Raoul Amescua has also obtained certifications in project management. Raoul completed the Caltech Project Management Certificate Program in July 2018 and obtained the Project Management Body of Knowledge certification from Caltech in February 2018.
