Clare Jones

Clare Jones currently serves as the VP of Finance at BlackGen Capital since April 2023 and holds the position of Executive Editor at The Michigan Daily since January 2022, with prior experience as a Recruitment Chair. Additionally, Clare has been a Radio Disc Jockey at WCBN FM since December 2021 and has gained newsroom experience as a News Intern at CNBC, contributing to the production of the morning show 'Squawk on the Street.' Clare also serves as a News Anchor for WOLV-TV and has worked as an Emma Bowen Fellow, producing content for WJBK Fox 2 Detroit. Previous internships include a Copy Editing role at Rocket Central. Clare is pursuing a Bachelor of Arts in International Studies at the University of Michigan, with an expected completion date in 2025, following graduation from Mercy High School in Farmington Hills in 2021.
