Opal Pettis

Dr. Opal Pettis works to translate business objectives and challenges into leadership development and wellness strategies. She works with Mid-Atlantic Permanente Medical Group physicians and staff to improve their resilience and fosters a creative, safe, innovative, and collaborative environment for all.

Dr. Pettis also serves as a coach and mentor to physicians and others within the system who are in positions of leadership. As an associate medical director, she provides administrative and operational oversight of diagnostic and interventional radiology and employee health.

Dr. Pettis received her Doctor of Medicine from Boston University School of Medicine and is a board-certified psychiatrist.
