Renee Weiss

Renee Weiss is currently the General Counsel and a Vice President of Millennia Housing Management, Ltd. She joined Millennia in 2018 as Associate Counsel, was promoted to Assistant General Counsel – Operation, and recently accepted the role of Interim General Counsel. At Millennia, she oversees a broad range of legal issues and interacts will all departments.

Prior to joining Millennia, Weiss was the Associate General Counsel of Litigation and Operations for DDR Corp. (aka Site Centers). In that role, Weiss oversaw the landlord/tenant litigation and bankruptcy matters for the company and worked with the property management department on shopping center operational issues. Weiss frequently presented at company meetings to aid with the training of different departments.

Weiss has an extensive background in litigation. Prior to joining Millennia, she worked at the law firm of Taft Stettinius & Hollister, LLP (formerly Kelley, McCann and Livingstone, LLP) as an associate in the Litigation Department. During her tenure at Taft, Weiss had first and second chair management responsibility for employment, family law, and general litigation matters. Prior to working at Taft, Weiss worked at the law firm of Baker & Hostetler, also in the Litigation Department.

Weiss is a graduate of the Cleveland Marshall College of Law. She received a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science from Miami University.
