Bre'Anna Washington - Weatherford

Bre'Anna Washington - Weatherford is an experienced youth program coordinator currently leading the Youth Arts Program at The Mint Museum since February 2023, focusing on empowerment and community building through art. As an author-illustrator for BeeThee.LLC since July 2021, Bre'Anna creates quality content for children and families. Previously, a teacher assistant at Charlotte-Mecklenburg Schools, Bre'Anna supported individualized instruction in a Montessori setting. Other notable positions include interim public programs assistant at The Mint Museum, education department intern at the Smithsonian Institution, and various tutoring roles at Fayetteville State University, where Bre'Anna earned a Bachelor of Arts in History. Bre'Anna also served as an Americorps member with City Year, providing mentorship and support to at-risk high school students.
