Che Machado is an experienced art technician and preparator currently serving as the Chief Preparator at The Mint Museum since August 2022. Prior to this role, Che worked at the Reynolda House Museum of American Art from September 2008 to May 2023, specializing in art movement, installation, fabrication of temporary walls, exhibition cases, and exhibition design. Che's earlier experience includes serving as a Senior Preparator at the J. Paul Getty Museum from April 2004 to September 2008, where responsibilities included creating exhibition showcases, handling art and object movement, and constructing large crates.
