Janet Newsome

Janet Newsome is the Senior Manager of the Women Veterans Leadership Program at The Mission Continues. Janet is a veteran of the United States Navy, having served as a recruiter and on the USS BATAAN (LHD-5). Janet has been with The Mission Continues since its founding, and has held various positions within the organization.

Janet Newsome is an interdisciplinary studies major with a focus in Navy/Marine ROTC and naval science and operations from Norfolk State University.
