Charles Noel

System Manager at The Mission Preparatory School

Charles Noel is the current system manager at The Mission Preparatory School. Prior to that, they worked as an 8th grade reading and ELD teacher at KIPP Colorado Schools from July 2017 to June 2018. From August 2015 to June 2017, they were a 7th grade English teacher at Carmen High School of Science and Technology. Charles also worked as a teacher at Milwaukee Public Schools from September 2013 to August 2015, where they taught 7th grade humanities, 4th and 5th grade in a self-contained classroom, and worked with the "Second Step" curriculum to provide students with positive responses to violent behaviors. Charles also taught the Common Core State Standards during their time there. From June 2013 to June 2015, they worked as a corps member for Teach For America. Lastly, they interned at Marketing Minds from January 2012 to December 2015.

Charles Noel earned their Bachelor's Degree in English Language and Literature/Letters from Colorado College. Charles then went on to earn their Master's Degree in Elementary Education and Teaching from Alverno College. Lastly, they attended Southwest High School.

Charles Noel reports to Cynthia Jerez, Executive Director. Some of their coworkers include D'Andrea Robinson - Dean of Culture and Instruction - Upper Elementary, Sofia Ortega - Office Assistant, and Claudia Martinez - Dean of Culture and Instruction- Lower Elementary. and Alan - Tech TA reports to Charles Noel.
