Lupe Quijada

Lupe Quijada is a kindergarten teacher at The Mission Preparatory School. Lupe has been teaching at the school since January 2018. Prior to that, they were a Spanish teacher at the school from July 2020 to December 2016. Lupe also worked as an administrative teacher and afterschool teacher at Growth and Learning Opportunities from September 2014 to December 2016. Quijada began their career as a sales associate at Gap Inc./Banana Republic in May 2012 and worked there until January 2018. Lupe also spent one year as a tutor with America Reads from October 2010 to May 2011.

Lupe Quijada received a Bachelor of Arts in Liberal Arts and Sciences/Liberal Studies from San Francisco State University. Lupe then went on to earn a Master's degree / Teaching Credential in Urban Education and Social Justice from the University of San Francisco.

Lupe Quijada reports to Claudia Martinez, Dean of Culture and Instruction- Lower Elementary. Lupe Quijada works with Ariana Sarkhosh - Elementary School Teacher, Caroline Moon - 2nd Grade TA, and Katelyn Traut - Lower Elementary Teacher.
