Chris Blount has a diverse work experience spanning over several years. Chris began their professional career as the Vice President of Regional Relations at the Greater Jackson Chamber Partnership in 1998. In 1999, Chris moved on to Vertex Aerospace, where they worked as the Director of Communications and Public Affairs for eight years. In 2008, they joined Methodist Rehabilitation Center as the Executive Director of the Wilson Research Foundation, responsible for managing the center's research foundation and assisting with strategic communications and special projects as a member of the hospital's senior administration.
Chris Blount attended Centenary College of Louisiana from 1982 to 1987. Chris earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration and a Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology during this time.
