Benjamin Weiner is a highly experienced astrophysicist with a substantial background in both research and observational support. Currently serving as a Staff Scientist at MMT Observatory since February 2017, Benjamin Weiner contributes to instrument support and observatory operations. Since 2006, Benjamin Weiner has also been an Associate Astronomer at Steward Observatory, focusing on research and data analysis using various telescopes, including the Spitzer Space Telescope and Hubble Space Telescope. Prior roles include postdoctoral research positions at the University of Maryland and UC Santa Cruz, as well as a Barbara McClintock Postdoctoral Fellowship at the Observatories of The Carnegie Institution for Science. Benjamin Weiner holds a Ph.D. in Astrophysics from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Physics and English Literature from Swarthmore College.
