Francis Anderson is a seasoned engineering professional with extensive experience in the hospitality industry. Currently serving as the Director of Engineering at The Modern Honolulu since November 2015, Francis manages the engineering department and participates as a member of the Executive Committee. Prior roles include Director of Engineering at The Royal Hawaiian Hotel, where responsibilities encompassed strategic decision-making and daily operations, and Chief Engineer at ABM Industries, leading a team in a multi-building complex. Earlier positions include Chief Engineer at The Colony Club and The Drake Swissotel, as well as Assistant Chief Engineer at The New York Sheraton Hotel, and Watch Engineer at The Frick Collection. Throughout a career spanning over four decades, Francis has demonstrated expertise in operational management, safety training, and maintenance oversight.
