Nyla Ahmad has a range of work experience in various roles and companies. Nyla began their career as an engineering co-op at Kimberly-Clark in 2007, where they worked on designing prototypes and supporting product trials. Nyla then continued at Kimberly-Clark in 2008 as an engineering co-op, focusing on product development. Nyla transitioned to Brady Corporation in 2010, where they participated in their Leadership Development Program as a Materials Engineer. Nyla also took on the role of Product Developer/Project Manager at Brady Corporation from 2012 to 2015. Following that, Nyla worked at SC Johnson as a Project Manager from 2016 to 2017. Currently, they are working as a User Researcher at The Mom Project since 2019.
Nyla Ahmad completed their Bachelor of Science degree in Biomedical Engineering, with a focus on Biomechanics, from Marquette University in 2008. In 2013, they attended Northwestern University and earned a Certificate in Managing Product Design and Development. Nyla further pursued a Master of Product Design and Development Management from Northwestern University, completing the program in 2015.
