Hani Awad

Hani Awad has extensive work experience in various companies and roles. Hani started their career in 1993 as Vice President at Sky-Link Innovations Inc. Hani later worked as a Markets Analyst - Group Strategic Planning at Consolidated Contractors International Company from 1997 to 2001. Hani then joined Palestine Electric Company plc as a Senior Financial & Commercial Manager from 2001 to 2011. In 2009, they became the Head of Development at Palestine Power Generating Company until 2011. From 2011 to the present, they have been working at Consolidated Contractors International Company as a Senior Advisor - Financial, Commercial & Development. Additionally, they have served as a Member of the Board of Directors at Palestine Electric Company plc since 2013 and a Member of the Strategic Controls Committee, Board of Directors, and Joint Venture Board of Directors at Morganti Group Inc from 2013 to 2016.

Hani Awad's education history begins with their bachelor's degree in Construction Management from The University of Manchester, which they earned between 1986 and 1989. Hani then pursued a master's degree in Building Engineering and Project Management from Concordia University from 1991 to 1993. Later, Hani obtained an MBA in Finance from the University of La Verne, where they studied from 2000 to 2002. In 2006 and 2007, they completed a Postgraduate Diploma in Commercial & Corporate Law at UCL.

Hani Awad has also obtained several certifications in their professional career. In 2015, they became a Renewable Energy Professional (REP) through the Association of Energy Engineers. Hani also received a certification as a Certified PPP Professional (CP3P) from APMG International in 2016. Additionally, Hani is a member of the Canadian Culinary Institute CCFCC, a membership they acquired in 2013.
