Brian Ball

Brian Ball is an experienced mining professional with over two decades in the industry, currently serving as Sr. Manager/Director of Mine Strategy at The Mosaic Company since May 2011. In this role, Brian oversees exploration, mine planning, geology, hydrogeology, surveying, and GIS for Florida's phosphate mining operations, and acts as the Lead Qualified Person for North American Phosphate. Previous positions include General Manager and Mine Superintendent at Carmeuse North America from January 2006 to May 2011, as well as Area Operations Manager and Mine Superintendent at The Mosaic Company from January 1997 to January 2006. Brian holds a B.S. in Mining Engineering from Virginia Tech, earned between 1992 and 1996.
