Amanda Monteiro

Amanda Monteiro, LMSW, currently serves as a Palliative Care Social Worker and Cardiac Intensive Care Social Worker at The Mount Sinai Hospital since April 2023. Prior experience includes a role as a Pediatric Social Worker at NewYork-Presbyterian Hospital from August 2022 to April 2023 and as a Clinical Social Work Intern at NYU Langone Health from September 2021 to May 2022. Amanda has a background in social work internships, including at 14th Street Y and The Frye Company. Additionally, Amanda has significant experience in retail and merchandising, having held various leadership positions at Giorgio Armani and HELMUT LANG, and has taught part-time at Parsons School of Design. Amanda holds a Master of Social Work from The Catholic University of America and a Bachelor's degree in Theatre from Emerson College.
