Michaela Rivers

Michaela Rivers is currently employed as a Research Assistant at the Pinto Lab within The Neurodevelopmental Disorders Research Program at The Mount Sinai Hospital, focusing on patient recruitment for pediatric and adult epilepsy studies and data management. Additionally, Michaela is the Founder of the Adolescence Seizures Foundation, which has been active since September 2018. Previous experience includes an internship at Phelps Hospital, where Michaela shadowed medical professionals in various specialties, assisted with patient care, and documented learning experiences, as well as serving as a Counselor in Training at Club Fit from 2017 to 2019. Michaela is pursuing a B.S. in Neuroscience at New York University, expected to graduate in May 2026, and holds a high school diploma from Walter Panas High School.
