Scott Lorin

Scott Lorin, MD, MBA, currently serves as President and Chief Operating Officer at Mount Sinai Brooklyn Hospital, a position held since October 2014, after previously acting as Vice President and Chief Medical Officer. From 2013 to 2014, Scott held the role of Director of the Medical Intensive Care Unit at The Mount Sinai Hospital. Prior to that, between 1995 and 2012, Scott was Vice Chairman of Medicine and Internal Medicine Residency Program Director, in addition to leading the Division of Pulmonary, Critical Care and Sleep Medicine. Scott's educational background includes a Master of Business Administration from NYU Stern School of Business and a Doctor of Medicine from Sackler School of Medicine, following a Bachelor of Arts degree from Binghamton University.
