Swapnil Chhajer is a skilled software engineer with extensive experience in various technology domains. Currently working as a Senior Software Engineer at Google since April 2019, Swapnil focuses on Google Cloud's Security Command Center. Prior to this, Swapnil held the position of Software Engineer 2 at Microsoft, where key contributions included developing in-memory caching solutions and implementing RESTful APIs for SfB and Microsoft Teams. Swapnil's prior experiences include software engineering roles at Medtronic, Samsung Electronics, and internships at the Defence Research and Development Organisation. An active volunteer, Swapnil teaches Alpine scrambling courses with The Mountaineers. Swapnil holds a Master’s degree in Computer Science from the University of Southern California and a B.Tech. in Computer Science from Malaviya National Institute of Technology Jaipur.

The Mountaineers is a community of outdoor enthusiasts passionate about exploration, discovery, learning, and conservation. Founded in 1906 by 151 visionaries, our members named peaks and explored waterways and built trails to uncover unique and challenging landscapes. We helped create the North Cascades Wilderness area, and passed the National Wilderness Act. With an average of 6 activities a day to help you climb, ski, hike, paddle, sail, snowshoe, scramble, and more, we invite you to join us to lose yourself in the outdoors.
