Ian Henderson

Ian Henderson, AICP, currently serves as a Senior Planner for The Municipality of Princeton since June 2023, focusing on the 2023 Master Plan and participating in Vision Zero traffic safety initiatives. Prior to this role, Ian was an Associate Planner at Rutgers University from July 2019 to June 2023, where responsibilities included project coordination for long-range campus initiatives and engagement in transportation projects. Ian also worked as a Sustainable Transportation Coordinator for Greater Mercer TMA from February 2015 to July 2019, leading Safe Routes to School programs and promoting Complete Streets initiatives. Earlier experience includes roles at Choose New Jersey, Inc., the American Red Cross, and internships at various organizations, where skills in GIS applications and planning analysis were developed. Ian holds a Master's degree in City and Regional Planning from Rutgers University and a Bachelor's degree in Environmental Studies from the University of Pittsburgh.
