Serena Bernolak has a diverse work experience spanning several industries. Serena began their career as a Store Managing Partner at Brighton Collectibles, where they oversaw the operations of a 1.1 million dollar retail store. After that, they worked at City of Hope, starting as a Campaign Assistant and later becoming a Coordinator, Corporate Philanthropy. In these roles, they coordinated and managed fundraising programs, maintained relationships with major gift prospects, and organized fundraising events. Serena then joined the St. Baldrick's Foundation as a Development Associate, where they cultivated and managed a portfolio of individual, corporate, and foundation donors. Serena achieved impressive results in donor solicitation and developed successful donor cultivation events. Serena later joined JDRF International as a Development Manager, before moving on to Maryvale, where they held positions as the Director of Development and Assistant Director of Development. Serena'smost recent role is as the Director of Events and Stewardship at The Music Center.

Serena Bernolak earned a Bachelor's Degree in Non-Profit/Public/Organizational Management from Bellevue University, where they studied from 2012 to 2015. In addition to their bachelor's degree, they also obtained a certification as a Project Management Professional from the Project Management Institute in February 2010.
