Shelby Boagni

Shelby Boagni is an experienced HR professional with a range of roles in various companies. Shelby is currently the Senior Vice President of People & Culture at The Music Center since January 2022. Prior to that, they served as the Vice President of Human Resources at the Los Angeles County Museum of Art (LACMA) from February 2018 to January 2022. Shelby also held the position of Vice President of Human Resources at Green Dot Public Schools from March 2016 to February 2018. Before that, they were the Chief Human Resources Officer at Essia Health from 2013 to 2015, and the Vice President of Human Resources at IHOP from 2011 to 2013. Shelby also worked as the Senior Director of Human Resources at Activision from 2008 to 2011, the Regional Director of Human Resources at The Home Depot from 2007 to 2008, and the Vice President of Human Resources at Mars from 2005 to 2007. Prior to that, they served as the Manager of Human Resources at Epson from 2001 to 2005, and at The Walt Disney Company from 2000 to 2001.

Shelby Boagni, SHRM-SCP, has a Bachelor of Arts degree in History from Howard University. In July 2015, Shelby received certification as a SHRM Senior Certified Professional (SHRM-SCP) from SHRM.
