Jim Mathews

Jim Mathews currently serves on the Board of Directors for The Myositis Association since January 2017, and holds roles as Chairman and Vice Chairman at Jim Mathews Consulting, LLC, where Jim has been President and CEO since March 2015, specializing in pharmacy consulting across various sectors. Mathews was a member of the Pharmacy and Therapeutics Committee for the State of Michigan from December 2015 to September 2017, providing advice on prescription drug coverage for health care programs. Previous positions include Chief Operating Officer at Hometown Pharmacies, Inc., Vice President of Strategic Operations at both NuFACTOR Specialty Pharmacy and Walgreens-Option Care, and Area Vice President managing operations across the Midwest. Mathews also has a background in music direction and pharmacy management, with ownership of Dunewood Pharmacy and experience as Pharmacy Manager at North Ottawa Community Health System. Mathews holds a Bachelor's degree in Pharmacy from Ferris State University and a Master's degree in Health Administration from Central Michigan University.
