Owen Dahlkamp

Writing Fellow at The Nation

Owen Dahlkamp is a multifaceted professional with extensive experience in writing, research, and event management. Currently serving as a Writing Fellow at The Nation since April 2024 and a Lead Research Assistant at Brown University's Badre Lab, Owen has developed a cognitive neuroscience study focusing on multitasking, utilizing programming software such as MATLAB and R for data analysis. Concurrently, Owen holds roles at The Brown Daily Herald as Section Editor and Senior Staff Writer, covering scientific research and university news. Previous experience includes a Staff Writer position at CNN, Newsgathering Intern, and Operations Associate at TEDxBrownU, where Owen played a key role in organizing the annual conference. Additionally, as a Research Associate with the Brown Information Futures Lab, Owen conducted research on misinformation in collaboration with community partners. Owen holds an A.B. in Political Science and an Sc.B. in Cognitive Neuroscience from Brown University, complemented by a high school diploma from Helix Charter High School.
