Mark Isaacson

Deputy Chief of Staff & VP, Executive Communications at National Association of Manufacturers

Mark Isaacson serves as vice president of executive communications and chief speechwriter at the National Association of Manufacturers. He and his team focus on developing messaging strategies that advance manufacturers’ priorities in speeches, testimonies, print publications and digital platforms. In addition to preparing executives for major speaking events, he helps refine communications on complex policy issues ranging from infrastructure and digital technology to sustainability and diversity, equity and inclusion.

He has worked with Fortune 500 CEOs, candidates for federal office, elected officials, leading trade associations, non-profit organizations and corporate PR teams—providing everything from speech coaching to brand messaging guidance. Speeches he has drafted have won awards from Vital Speeches and PR News, and op-eds he has written have appeared in the Washington Post, Wall Street Journal, USA Today and other leading national outlets.

Prior to joining the NAM in 2015, Mark was chief speechwriter and editorial director at the Republican National Committee.

A Texas native, Mark is a Harvard University graduate and a resident of Washington, D.C.
