Joshua McElwee is a News Editor and International News Editor at National Catholic Reporter since August 2009. Joshua oversees newsroom operations, attracting 2 million unique users per month. As Vatican Correspondent, Joshua reopened the newspaper's Rome bureau and gained residency at the Vatican's international press office. Additionally, as National Correspondent, Joshua reopened the Washington bureau. Joshua has also worked as a Staff Writer at La Stampa and served as Vice President at AIGAV. Joshua has a Bachelor of Arts in Politics, Philosophy, and Theology from The Catholic University of America.
