Lorna Muffett

Lorna Muffett is an experienced volunteer management professional currently serving as Volunteering Business Partner and Head of Volunteering at the National Deaf Children's Society since March 2022. With a strong background in volunteer development and operations, Lorna has held key roles such as Volunteer Development Manager and Team Leader at SSAFA the Armed Forces charity since January 2018, and previously served as Volunteer Support Manager where operational support was provided to branches and service committees. Lorna’s extensive experience also includes leadership positions with Avon County Scouts, Voluntary Action North Somerset, and The Bishop's Palace, among others. Lorna holds a BA (Hons) in Consumer Management and Home Economics from Liverpool John Moores University, obtained between 1994 and 1996.
