Huda Maliawco Elasaad

Huda Maliawco Elasaad is an experienced professional in ecosystem services and water management. Currently serving as the Ecosystem Services Program Manager at the National Forest Foundation since October 2024, Huda previously held the position of Technical Specialist in Ecosystem Services at Winrock International and worked as a Technical Consultant across multiple companies and non-profits. Huda's expertise includes work as a Technical Research Assistant at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, co-founding change:WATER Labs, and contributing to projects as a Technical Consultant for QinetiQ US. Huda's academic background includes dual M.S. degrees from the University of Michigan and a B.S. from McGill University. Experience also includes roles with the AAAS-Lemelson Foundation as an Invention Ambassador and positions focused on water engineering and environmental modeling.
