At REI, they also provided ski and bicycle equipment repair and maintenance services, and taught introductory courses on outdoor industry subjects.
Manuel Lopez holds a Master's Degree in Geography, which they obtained from New Mexico State University from 2015 to 2017. Prior to that, they completed their Bachelor of Arts (B.A.) in Geography at California State University, Chico, from 2004 to 2009. Manuel has also attended multiple ESRI User Conferences, although no specific degrees or fields of study are mentioned for these conferences. In addition to their formal education, Manuel has obtained a certification as a Wilderness First Responder from the NOLS Wilderness Medicine Institute (WMI), although the specific date of obtaining this certification is not provided.
