Andrew Herbert has over three decades of experience in the field of computing and technology, currently serving as Chairman of the Board of Trustees at The National Museum of Computing since January 2011. Previously, Andrew led the EDSAC Replica Project as Project Manager from 2012 to 2013 and held significant roles at Microsoft Research Ltd from 2001 to 2011, including Distinguished Engineer and Chairman for EMEA, with earlier positions as Assistant Director and Managing Director. Prior engagements include Director of Advanced Technology at Citrix Systems, CTO at Digitivity (APM Ltd), and Technical Director at APM Ltd. Andrew holds a PhD in Computer Science from the University of Cambridge and a BSc in Computational Science from the University of Leeds.
