Craig Ferguson has extensive work experience in the field of human resources and people management. Craig has worked for various organizations, including the National Trust for Scotland and The National Trust. At the National Trust for Scotland, they have held multiple roles, including Head of People Policy, Operations & Advice, People Relations, Policy, and Engagement Manager, and People Support Manager / HR Manager. In these positions, they were responsible for employee relations, resourcing, and support, as well as working with union representatives and developing policies and procedures. Prior to that, Craig worked as an Employee Resourcing Manager and HR Officer at the National Trust for Scotland. Craig also has experience as a Property Manager at Haddo House. Earlier in their career, they worked as a House Manager at Speke Hall, where they managed the operation of a country house and collection.
Craig Ferguson completed their undergraduate education at The University of Edinburgh from 1986 to 1990, earning an MA degree in Geography with a focus on urban and historical landscapes. Afterward, they pursued further studies at the same university from 1990 to 1991, obtaining an MSc degree in Cultural Resource Management.
