Allison W. Small

Allison W. Small, MBA, SPHR, is a seasoned HR professional with extensive experience in talent management, organizational transformation, and employee engagement within the non-profit sector. Currently serving as the Global Director of Talent & HR Management at The Nature Conservancy since September 2018, Allison leads a diverse team to support over 5,000 employees across more than 42 countries. Previous roles include HR Consultant and Partner at Discovery Inc., where organizational development during a major acquisition was a focus, as well as co-founding a boutique HR consultancy, TalentCMO. With a career starting in recruitment and advancing through various leadership positions, including Vice President of Human Resources at Discovery Communications, Allison has developed a robust skill set in strategic HR initiatives, business management, and team development. Academic credentials include a BA in Psychology from Boston College and an MBA with a concentration in International and HR Management from The George Washington University.
