Zachary Simek is a Geospatial Data Manager at The Nature Conservancy since March 2015, providing essential geospatial support to the global science team. Previously, Zachary served as a Conservation and GIS Analyst, offering GIS and data analysis for regional invasive species management in the Adirondacks and St. Lawrence Eastern Lake Ontario areas. As the Terrestrial Invasive Species Project Coordinator, Zachary coordinated surveys, management, and outreach for invasive species in the Adirondack region. Prior experience includes roles as Regional Supervisor and Watershed Steward at the Adirondack Watershed Institute. Zachary holds a Bachelor of Science degree in Natural Resource Management and Policy from Paul Smith's College, completed in 2013.
