Peter Woods

Peter Woods is a Chief Examiner at the International Association of Maritime Institutions, where Peter creates fair assessments for Master - NARAS (Yacht) Examinations. Peter is also a Marine Consultant, retired from Lairdside Maritime Centre, and maintains connections with the maritime industry. Peter is a Writer/Marker for OOW- NARAS and Master – NARAS - MCA Yacht Examinations. Additionally, Peter has served in various roles in the maritime industry, including as a Master at Vela International Marine and Kuwait Oil Tanker Company, and in the Royal Naval Reserves as a Captain, Commander, Lieutenant Commander, Lieutenant, and Sub Lieutenant. Peter holds a Post Graduate Certificate in Learning and Teaching in Higher Education from Liverpool John Moores University.
