Kristen Cox Roby currently serves as the Executive Editor for the Unitarian Universalist Association, overseeing the publication of the UU World magazine and website since June 2023. With a diverse background in journalism, Kristen has been a freelance food writer for the Santa Fe New Mexican since October 2018. Previously, Kristen spent nearly 17 years at Gannett | USA TODAY NETWORK, where roles included New York Special Projects and Investigations Editor and Atlantic Region Storytelling Editor. Other positions held span content strategy, local news oversight, and lifestyle editing, showcasing a strong focus on narrative storytelling and digital media. Kristen's earlier experience includes editing roles at Tumbleweeds Family Newspaper and Gwinnett Daily Post. An alumnus of the University of Missouri-Columbia with a Bachelor’s Degree in Journalism, Kristen also holds a Master's Degree in English Language and Literature from Binghamton University.
